All RS readers should take the time to consider the latest episode of the Heart of a Heartless World podcast, which includes a fascinating interview with Allison Duerk from the Eugene V. Debs Museum in Terre Haute, Indiana. Eugene Debs was, as everyone should remember, one of the most crucial and most inspiring figures in the history of socialism in the United States, and someone who entwined his religious faith and his socialist fervor as few others have since. Duerk invites all DSA members and chapters to either visit or sign up for a virtual tour, one example of which can be found here. In the meantime, give the podcast episode a listen, and share it with your friends who know nothing of socialist history in the United States. (And recommending this book on Debs wouldn't be a bad idea either!)
